*Why It Works:* The flange extends away from the cover at a right angle and lines up exactly with the base sheet or tray. The flange is manufactured to be three inches wide to provide a large horizontal area for sealing. This horizontal area eliminates an installer’s need to manipulate and possibly tear the cover while sealing it to a base sheet or tray. The ease of closure also extends itself to a simplified vacuum sealing method (See the reverse side of Sheet).
*Features:*
The flange extends out from the cover at a right angle to lay flat against a base sheet or a tray’s matching flange. The flange can be heat sealed to the base sheet or attached with factory applied pressure sensitive adhesive. The flange facilitates simplified vacuum sealing. Flanged covers are available in any heat sealable material. Flanged three dimensional covers are easier to install and are more reliable than flat bags and hand-sealed covers. State of the art industrial machinery ensures all seals are hermetic.
